The highlighted item is a traditional bronze or brass statuette of Lord Vishnu, a major deity in Hinduism who represents the preserver and protector of the universe.Iconography and DetailsFour Arms: He is typically depicted with four arms, holding his signature attributes. His upper right hand holds the Sudarshana Chakra (discus) and his upper left hand holds the Panchajanya Shanka (conch shell).Attire and Crown: He wears a traditional tall, conical headdress called a Kiritamukuta (crown), along with stylized jewelry and a traditional lower garment.Style: The rough, rustic metal casting style and the proportions are highly characteristic of folk or devotional metalwork from South India (often attributed to the Karnataka or Andhra Pradesh regions), widely produced using the lost-wax casting method (Madhuchista Vidhana).Mount: The antique metal figurine has been mounted on a modern dark green marble base block for display purposes.
