Who am I?

I am a visual artist from the Netherlands and I draw inspiration from art history, pop culture and everyday things in life. From love to music to fashion. As an artist I put my own twist on famous images and flip them so that something totally new emerges.

I come from the south of the Netherlands. This is near the Belgian and German borders, an international environment with many different cultures. My first experiences with art started in primary school with making portraits, comic drawings and doodles, and later I began graffiti.

In 2014 I completed the art academy in Maastricht. My work has been seen on the street and in exhibitions and it is now widely sold to enthusiasts via Catawiki, and as a result my work is in many private collections. From China to America.

Painting is, for me, the ultimate freedom and the way to give meaning to the world.
