For sale is a edition with selected works of the Roman poet Ovid. Printed in Rotterdam by David du Petit Val.

Bound in a contemporary brown marble‑patterned leather binding with spine embossing. The binding is worn, the joints are partially cracked, but overall still in good condition.

The pages show at the beginning light water stains. Slightly browned in places, a few spots here and there, otherwise in good condition. The title page is a bit speckled.
With lovely marbled endpapers.

Zum Verkauf steht eine Ausgabe mit ausgewählten Werken des römischen Dichters Ovid. Gedruckt in Rotterdam bei David du Petit Val.

Gebunden in einem zeitgenössischen braunen marmorierten Lederband mit Rückenprägung. Der Einband ist berieben, die Gelenke sind teilweise angeplatzt, insgesamt aber noch gut erhalten. 

Die Seiten besitzen zu Beginn leichte Wasserflecken. Teilweise leicht gebräunt, vereinzelt gibt es ein paar Flecken, sonst aber im guten Zustand. Die Titelseite ist etwas gefleckt.
Mit schönen marmorierten Vorsatzblättern.
