Original, hand-signed acrylic painting by O. Xani, titled Kosmische Stadt, dated 2026, acrylic on canvas with a stretcher, 80 x 100 cm, approx. 1.5 kg, in excellent condition, depicting an abstract urban landscape in the style of Abstract Expressionism, sold directly from the artist.
Description from the seller
The work presents an abstract-urban visual world between architecture, memory, and movement. Luminous color fields, gestural lines, and layered structures generate a tension between order and dissolution. The composition resembles a fragmented city memory that concentrates in color, rhythm, and spatial impression. The image combines energy, depth, and poetic openness into an impressive visual presence.
The painting was painted with acrylic on canvas (stretched). This means it can be hung immediately.
Your painting will be professionally and meticulously packaged. Shipping occurs after payment is received and includes an invoice as well as a certificate of authenticity.
Xani studied architecture, but during his studies he turned more and more to art. During the Kosovo War he fled his homeland and has lived in Dortmund, Germany, since 1999. While painting, he experiences a sense of freedom and regards his own images as if seen by a stranger. He often notices that he has unconsciously processed current themes when he looks at his paintings, and then understands why they have become the way they are.
Teaching in drawing and painting with a professor of art led him to devote himself to fine arts. His work encompasses both painting on canvas and large-scale wall and façade designs. He experiments with reducing forms, material structures, and the possibilities of color. His motifs often refer to a symbolic language, and the design of the human figure, developed and generalized by him, runs like a red thread through many of his artistic works.
Since 2004 he has been working as a freelance artist and has participated in numerous exhibitions and art projects.
