This French painter, born December 25, 1934, trained in graphic arts at the Estienne Technical College, in engraving, painting, and tapestry creation.
Vermeil Medal of Arts, Sciences and Letters; familiar with Parisian salons such as Les Indépendants, Artistes Français, and the National of Fine Arts. He is permanently represented in about a dozen French galleries, and his works have been acquired by collectors around the world (Europe, Japan, Canada, United States, Mexico).
His artistic production has two faces: the prudent and academic one of the painter of the streets of Paris and Venice, landscapes and seafronts with wild grasses. And the one that interests us here seems to come from the depths of his dreams or twilight visions: an almost Fauvist palette (Tyrian pinks, Prussian blues straight from the tube) with moving, twisting forms that depict animals and humans with an expressionist intensity. The forces of nature are expressed with a savagery, an apparent clumsiness that resemble brut art.
