Original edition, rare, unknown to Bitting, Cagle, Oberlé.
The recipes are clearly described and supported by 70 wood engravings in the text.

• Format : In-12, 10.8 x 17.3 cm.
• Number of volumes : 1 volume.
• Binding : Red percaline binding by the publisher with a large black design on the front board, the spine and back board also decorated, table of plates and contents (18 p.).
• Collation : [4f.]–xxxiv–505p.
• Weight : 545 g.
Condition : The binding is loose and worn, headcaps collapsed, one hinge rubbed with a tear at the foot, stains and marks, foxing, text pages in very good condition.
