I try to move within the action of continuing to reinvent cubism giving it a contemporary air.
I regularly access parameters I consider recurring, such as the constant assimilation of images from the past, the play with others’ language, concentrating on old and modern painters.
I feel the constant sensation of diving inward into history.
My study and research of the Cubist movement, especially the entire extensive trajectory of Picasso, leads me to unknown territories.
In each painting I try to revisit the problems and solutions Picasso posed with cubism.
Cubism, to me, is a very important pictorial movement within the history of art.
