Testa di bambina, an original 1919 oil on canvas impressionist portrait by Armando Spadini (1883–1925) from Italy, 25 × 30 cm, not signed, in excellent condition and sold with its frame.

An atmospheric and highly expressive early 20th century Italian portrait study by Armando Spadini, executed with the artist’s characteristic free brushwork and luminous tonal transitions.
Provenance: Galleria dell’Arte, Via Borgospesso 12, Milano (historic gallery label verso), with handwritten inscription “A. Spadini” and title “Testa di bambina”. Additional handwritten reference “Ghiglione”, associated with the historic Italian collector and early supporter of Armando Spadini, Avv. Ghiglione.
The reverse retains its original gallery labels, period backing paper and historic collection inscriptions.
The painting is accompanied by the original catalogue of the 1933 retrospective exhibition dedicated to Armando Spadini.
