The cast bars have a classic square cast bar design. Cast gold bars have the advantage over minted bars that the surface is less susceptible to scratches. A gold bar produced by the casting process can be safely handled to feel the high specific weight of 99.99% pure gold in the hand, without risking damage to the bar or interference from fingerprints. Cast bars inherently have rounded edges and small solidification lines. This makes every Au bar a unique piece.
