Description
Interesting lot consisting of four small decorative boxes handcrafted with bone veneer and brass fittings, burnished brass. Each box features different shapes — oval and boxy — with geometric incisions and ornamental applications recalling artisanal productions with an ethnic and colonial taste.
The surfaces are decorated with linear and radial motifs obtained through inlay and contrasting engravings, while the interiors are finished with dark red velvet-like fabric. The front metal closures contribute to the ornamental character of the whole.
Objects designed as small jewelry boxes, pill boxes, or collectible trinket boxes, also ideal as decorative elements for boho, eclectic, or cabinet de curiosités environments.
