In this painting I wanted the natural elegance of the cat, whose gaze seems to go beyond without ever resting on someone or something.
Proud and a bit snobbish, it lets itself be admired without ever fully yielding.
The background of the painting leaves visible the wooden board with its grain, as if it were the natural continuation of the tiger's stripes.
The fur, a little tousled, is rendered with oil colors on a spatula, in particular the whiskers appear slightly raised.
The painting measures 30x30 cm (33x33 with the frame); it is ready to be hung and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
