I strive to move within the act of continually reinventing Cubism, giving it a contemporary edge.
I regularly access certain parameters I consider recurrent, such as the constant assimilation of images from the past, the play with others’ language, focusing on both old and modern painters.
I feel the sensation of a constant dive into the interior of history.
My study and research of the Cubist movement, especially the extensive trajectory of Picasso, take me to unknown territories.
In each painting I try to review the problems and solutions that Picasso posed with Cubism.
Cubism, for me, is a very important artistic movement in art history.
