Michiel Folkers presents a unique original acrylic artwork titled “112-3-5 (ORIGINAL)”, 70 by 70 cm, signed on the front, created in 2026 and produced in the Netherlands, with an Artist Certificate of Authenticity.
Description from the seller
For this artwork, a second-hand teddy bear was used, rescued from flea markets or from the trash and thus immortalized in this way. The work is sold worldwide to art collectors and galleries, but the bear also regularly appears in various forms on the street. (See photos).
The original teddy bear is dipped in deep blue acrylic ink. It was then printed in its entirety on thick pink-painted museum paper.
Technique: Deep dark blue on warm rose, acrylic / acid-free 340g museum paper
Included: Artist Certificate of Authenticity
Delivery: Worldwide shipping within 48 hours, rolled in a cylinder
Edition: UNIQUE (number 112-3-5) signed on the front
Numbering represents: 112th used teddy bear, 3rd unique print, of a total of 5 printed original works.
Michiel Folkers, better known as Gieler (1982), began in the late 1990s as a graffiti artist in Amsterdam. He now works in his studio, but the rawness of the street remains visible in his art. His work travels the world and can be seen in galleries from Zurich to New York. Especially in the United States, his work has become immensely popular in recent years and hangs on the walls of several celebrities.
