Our standards:
- Each bonsai is shipped with a sample packet of our preferred organic long-term bonsai fertilizer.
- To determine trunk width, we place the measuring instrument at halfway height between the root base and the first branch (see example image). If there are multiple trunks, the widest one is chosen.
- All our trees are planted in a substrate mix specially developed by us.
- Wherever possible, we reuse old packaging for shipping, in the interest of the environment.
- The trees are watered before shipping, protected against drying out, and securely fixed in the outer carton.
- Shipping is insured.
- Service providers are commissioned who state that they normally deliver the goods within a maximum of 4 working days.
- We ship on the following Monday after payment is received on Catawiki to avoid weekend delivery delays.
