Description from the seller

IMPORTANT MESSAGE: I ship only to certain destinations - Please read the shipping prices carefully.

"THE HUG"

It is a simple gesture that comes from within, an embrace toward oneself, as a symbol of balance, care and wholeness. A gesture that contains everything, even when the world seems distant.

Each single creation is a unique piece handmade with delicacy and feeling. The sculpture was shaped in clay and fired in a professional oven, subsequently patinated at room temperature. In the porosity and imperfections of the terracotta and pigments used lies the beauty of this material.

Shipping will be carried out carefully. All works are signed by hand and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

Techniques of workmanship:

Sculpture: Patinated Terracotta
Sphere: Brass

Nicole Furlan, born in 1991, attended an art and photography academy. Always in search of inspiration to grow. Raised in the Tuscan countryside, she rediscovers in small things the charm of simplicity and reinterprets it through matter, thus enabling an open dialogue with her own subconscious.
For several years she had the opportunity to create a connection between sculpture (soul) and human in her Atelier/Laboratory in Pitigliano, a small village of Etruscan origins. A new, delicate formula of deep connections.
In 2020 she decided to return to living in open countryside, so as to be able to focus even more on herself and on what she wants to express.
