This painting feels as if it didn’t come into being in a single moment, but grew slowly—layer by layer, like memories stacking on top of one another. Nothing forces itself into the foreground, and yet everything is present: traces that remain even when you’ve long forgotten their origin.

The warm, earthy tones feel familiar, almost soothing, as if you were touching something old—something that existed long before you were here. And the longer you look, the more you feel that beneath every visible surface there is something else hidden.

It’s not a loud image. It speaks softly, almost reticently. But that is precisely its strength: it reminds us that time doesn’t simply pass—it stays, it accumulates, it leaves traces. And sometimes a brief glance is enough to sense how much lies beneath.

Biography:
My name is Sandra Glaser and I live in Trofaiach in beautiful Styria, where I have created a lovingly furnished studio—a place where I can fully immerse myself in my colors, shapes, and thoughts.
Since childhood I have been fascinated by the world of art. This enthusiasm has never left me—it's with me to this day and continually inspires me anew. On travels and during visits to numerous exhibitions across Europe, I collected many artistic impressions that have shaped my view of painting.
My preferred form of expression is abstract acrylic painting on canvas. In my works I mainly deal with feelings, inner states, landscapes, and fantasy worlds. It’s about making visible what cannot be said—emotions, moods, and interspaces that often can only be expressed in color and movement.
I paint out of passion. It is for me an intuitive process where authenticity and depth are central. Each work is a piece of myself—a impulse, a memory, a look inward and outward at the same time.

For a painting measuring 160 x 100 cm you need a stretcher frame of size 150 x 90 cm and a depth of 2–4 cm.

You can either simply stretch the canvas yourself or have it stretched by an artisan or gallery.

This is a handmade original, which the artist signs on the back and dates by year.

High-quality and light-fast acrylic paints were used on multiple coats of white-primed gallery canvas.
Similarly, a varnish was applied to protect the work.

This work is handmade and therefore unique!
