The artworks are shipped from the artist based in the United States to our logistics platform in France, which handles import and customs clearance, before returning them individually to our collectors without any constraints. The transportation cost includes all charges from the United States to your home.

If the artwork is damaged, you must refuse delivery and specify the reason for the refusal on the delivery note, noting issues such as “broken,” “scratched,” “damaged,” or “folded.” If only the packaging is damaged but the contents are intact, you may accept the parcel. Conversely, if both the packaging and the contents are damaged, you must refuse the parcel without hesitation. Note that if you accept the parcel without verifying your purchase at delivery, we will not be able to pursue compensation or replacement.

If you request a withdrawal, DHL fees will remain at your expense. You will be responsible for DHL Express shipping fees, which are non-refundable. Only the price of the artwork will be refunded.

Karl Lagasse, a renowned artist, gained prominence in 2009 with his One Dollar sculptures, ranking among the top ten sculptors under 30 years old according to Artprice that same year. In 2012, the New York publication Farameh named him one of the fifty best contemporary artists inspired by traditional American icons, in its book FOR WHICH IT STANDS: Americana in Contemporary Art. More recently, in 2016, during the Art Paris Art Fair, the President of the French Republic warmly congratulated Karl for his impressive 2-meter bronze sculpture One Dollar, exhibited at the Grand Palais.

Karl’s artistic journey began at age 7 with collages, prompted by his encounter with sculptor César Baldaccini. He then turned to tagging and graffiti in the Paris metro while remaining passionate about collages. Artist Yvaral Vasarely encouraged him to fuse his tags with his collages. In 2003, Karl prepared his first exhibition in Paris, which led to his first solo show in 2006 at the Isy Brachot gallery in Brussels. In 2008, he returned to Paris with an exhibition combining paintings, sculptures, and video elements at the Espace Pierre Cardin.

2026: - Finalization of the work One Dollar Green Bronze 8 meters, 7 tons. The world’s largest One Dollar sculpture created by the artist.

2025: - Installation of the monumental work Reflection of the Sun. Installed near the brand-new Pavillon des Bains, on the Promenade Michel d’Ornano, inaugurated by the mayor Philippe Augier on September 8.

2024: - Art Miami - Collective exhibitions Galerie Nicolas Auvray New York. For the occasion, a bronze cryptogram of 1m80 and a 2-meter One Dollar were exhibited during the event.
- 50th anniversary of the Deauville American Film Festival; for the occasion, the artist created 18 bronze trophies as well as a 2-meter sculpture to be installed at the CID. Artists interviewed about the artist and who received the trophy include: Michael Douglas, Daisy Ridley, Natalie Portman, Michelle Williams, Mikey Madison...

2023: - Aspen Saint Regis: Installation of the 2-meter One Dollar in front of the St Regis. The Aspen Times covered the event in a dedicated article.
- Rapper Rick Ross posed with a special edition St Regis One Dollar.

2022: - New York: Times Square NYC, projection on Nasdaq screen of the work “A One Dollar in the Cyberspace City.”
- American Film Festival trophies presented to Thandiwe Newton, Jesse Eisenberg, Ana de Armas…

2021: - New studio in Austin, Texas, USA.
- Solo exhibition of the artist.
- Finalization of the sculpture “Ascension of Christ” after several years of work.

2020: - Beginning of work on the largest piece ever created by the artist: the One Dollar Bronze Green 8 Meters.
- Deauville American Film Festival: he creates a new sculpture in collaboration with the city of Deauville, inspired by the barriers along the Deauville promenade (the boards).

2019: - Deauville American Film Festival: the artist creates a new sculpture, representing his dollar engraved in aluminum.

2018: - Creation of a new sculpture for the Deauville American Film Festival trophy; among the artists who received the sculptured trophy are: Morgan Freeman, Sarah Jessica Parker, Elle Fanning, Jason Clarke and many others...

2017: - Karl Lagasse succeeds the prestigious Cartier House in designing the Deauville American Film Festival trophies.

2016: - Art Fair Paris at the Grand Palais
- A two-meter-high “One Dollar,” fully bronze, was exhibited at the Art Paris fair.
- The French president visited the exhibition and personally congratulated the artist for his work.
- First in Spain at the Atrium gallery in Marbella, solo exhibition with new collections in the presence of international press and the mayor of the city, Jose Bernal Gutierrez. Special performance by his wife, opera singer Cherise Lagasse, who performed pieces from her repertoire.

2015: - Second collaboration with Maserati with the creation of a monumental installation entitled “A Piece of Heaven on Earth.” This work features a Maserati covered with a white plastic film and a sculpture of Jesus Christ. Around the car, several sculptures representing one-dollar bills are laid on the ground, symbolizing the repayment of humanity’s greatest debt.

2014: - Maserati presents for the world premiere the Maserati Ghibli redesigned by artist Karl Lagasse for the brand’s 100th anniversary.

2013: - Collective exhibition Automobile Club of France, Place de la Concorde, Paris.

2012: - Karl gifted the city of Deauville a bronze Crytogram One sculpture, permanently at the city entrance.
- For the 65th Cannes Film Festival anniversary, Karl created a sculpture “Building” consisting of a collage of photos tracing the festival’s key moments.
