Nicolas Basset Esposito - Chicago train

Nicolas Esposito builds through his photographs elements of memory linked to the architecture of the territories he traverses. He questions various constructions by showing fragments of structures typical of our past. Detail, airiness, shadow and light, fullness and emptiness are the principles he likes to develop. Through this process, he is constantly seeking forms that reveal our civilizations. Building on this concept, he aims to share with us in his photos what belongs to us and may escape us at the same time.

This work has been exhibited several times, including the exhibition "Cities in Black and White" in Marseille in 2020.
