Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Two Manises lamps in ceramic glazed and brass, in the Art Nouveau style, dating to 1960–1970, in excellent condition and in working order, measuring 32 cm high by 18 cm wide and 18 cm deep, originating from Spain and attributed to Manises with classic reliefs.
Description from the seller
They are two Manises lamps from the second half of the 20th century, crafted in glazed ceramic and mounted on brass, preserving that classic, ornamental air so typical of the Valencian workshops of the era. The ceramic, with its meticulous relief and vegetal decoration inspired by traditional motifs, shows that taste for detail that made Manises a reference: soft volumes, entwined motifs, a craquelé finish that adds depth and a almost sculptural presence.
The brass, warm and bright, acts as the perfect counterpoint: crowning the top with an elegant finial and supporting the base with a solid ring that visually balances the piece. The ensemble conveys a blend of Mediterranean craftsmanship and classical refinement, a style that fits both traditional interiors and more contemporary spaces seeking a decorative touch with a sense of history.
As a pair, they work especially well: they create symmetry, add character, and fill the space with a light that not only illuminates but decorates. They are authentic pieces, with identity, and they represent Valencian ceramic work from the 20th century very well.
Certified shipping and good packaging.
