Gien van de Velde (Waddinxveen 1944) is a Dutch painter with a love for typically Dutch landscapes. He paints landscapes with calm, but sometimes also threatening skies in naturalistic tones.
Van de Velde studied at the art academy in Rotterdam, after which he took private lessons from Herman J. Wijngaard.
