Japanese crystal tabletop clock by the brand Hoya - 1970s - 1980s
It represents the elegance and design of the era, with the fusion of crystal and precision watchmaking mechanisms.
Crystal clocks were very popular as luxury decorative objects; the sunray-cut of the crystal was a common design feature at the time.
In excellent condition, the AA battery-powered mechanism currently seems not to work; I'm not an expert but I think it can be repaired or the mechanism replaced.
