Pair of vintage Murano glass vases of Italian origin from the 1960s–1970s, featuring a multicolored Tutti Frutti decor, each measuring 9 cm wide, 20 cm high and 8 cm deep, in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear.
Description from the seller
Pair of Vintage Vases – in Fratelli Toso style – probably Italy, circa 1960s/1970s
For sale is a beautiful, rare pair of matching vintage art glass vases from Murano, Italy.
The vases captivate with their vibrant, multicolored “Tutti Frutti” (also known as Carnivale or End of Day) decor.
The colorful glass fragments and inclusions are masterfully embedded into the glass mass, making each piece an absolute one-of-a-kind.
Particularly elegant are the elaborately applied, ribbed handles in deep cobalt blue, as well as the wavy, cloverleaf-shaped bases made of identical blue glass. The lip rims are organically wavy and underline the dynamic, organic form of mid‑century design.
Original, round export label stickers reading “Murano San Marco” remain on the vases, suggesting a possible origin from Venetian workshops. Stylistically and craftsmanship-wise, these objects align with the famous designs by Fratelli Toso.
Fine collectible items in a remarkable, matching pair – perfect for connoisseurs of Italian design and exclusive glass art.
