A three-tier wooden plant stand dating to the 1960s–1980s, with a turned oak stem and legs and veneered shelves, 75.5 cm high and 54 cm wide and deep, about 3 kg, brown, made in the Netherlands, in good used condition with minor signs of aging and stains.
Description from the seller
A very decorative plant table, which you could also call a plantetagère, because the piece offers three spots at different heights to place a plant or flower. This plant table probably dates from the 1960s or 1970s and is based on an antique style. This style was particularly popular in the second half of the 19th century (Victorian).
The etagère is 75.5 cm high, and the width as well as the depth depend on how you position the levels. The arms are independently rotatable around the stem. At its widest and deepest, the distance is 54 cm. The three levels each have a diameter of 15.5 cm and the legs are about 43.5 cm apart.
This plantetagère is turned from solid wood. The stem and the legs appear to be turned from oak, but the levels are probably made from a different type of wood. They also each have a veneer layer, which in particular on the lower two has disappeared in several places, revealing the underlying wood layer (see photos). These obvious signs of use have arisen from moisture (likely water given to the plants). They are not bothersome marks of use; they belong to a plant table of this age, and there is always something on it. The photos show how the levels look.
To ship the plantetagère safely, it is disassembled into several parts that are packed separately. This keeps the package compact and greatly reduces the risk of damage during transport.
After arrival the furniture can be easily and quickly assembled by hand.
The plant table is carefully packed and shipped insured.
