- The artist’s word: "This collection 'Urban Chronicle' is a dialogue between past and present, a fusion of classical grandeur with the raw energy of the street. It represents the timelessness of art, where the ancient marble of Greek statues meets the bold colors and forms of modern graffiti. Every spray stroke on this painting is a bridge between two worlds, a tribute to the history of art and its constant evolution, defying borders and eras to create something totally new, a symbol of cultural resilience through the ages."
- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught French artist and all-around creator who grew up in the culture of the 80s/90s, inspiring a large portion of his artistic works.
He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic, expressive compositions, often double-meaning, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE’s market value has seen a notable rise. Winner of the first prize at the Urban Master contest (2023), then named Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence gallery in October, and he also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.
His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States, and Asia, consolidating his place on the contemporary art scene. At the same time, SKE also makes his mark in the digital artworks market, a major trend of the past two years, further strengthening the appeal of his creations among collectors.
Icons of popular culture, bold graphics and texture play define a style that has become indispensable.
SKE is undoubtedly an artist to follow, to start or enrich a collection with rising value.
Cited & Awarded Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
AN UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE’s work sits in a prestigious lineage. In his line, you can detect the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to reinterpret Mona Lisa by Vinci, Vermeer’s Young Girl, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to confront them with a modern urban aesthetic close to Mr Brainwash or Kaws.
POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing on the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons of our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and the symbolic greed of Scrooge. The influence of gaming, comics, and manga is omnipresent: from the Nintendo universe and the mythical Game Boy, to Pokemon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), through Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.
LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with the codes of success and materialism. The dollar symbol sits alongside logos of luxury and fashion giants. His canvases capture the aesthetic of "Hype": one encounters the sneaker world (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also includes automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to mention mass consumer icons like Coca Cola. It is vibrant art, with textured finishes evoking the glossy finish of a Jeff Koons or the facets of a Richard Orlinski.
This work is ideal for enriching a collection or adding a dynamic touch to your living space.
