Description from the seller
"Case Départ" – Limited Edition (100 copies) - New collection 2026
Edition number: 03/100
Artist: SKE
Publisher: Atelier Montmartre Paris
Hahnemühle museum-grade art paper – ISO A3 format – Signed, numbered – Certificate included
Here, Mondrian clearly read too many comics. He lined up the characters in neat, straight panels, pulled out his primary colors… and let the story fend for itself. Result: a comic book that thinks it’s abstract art — or abstract art that still makes bubbles, but in the head. A viewable-in-abundance piece, even if you don’t understand the ending.
This piece is much more than an artistic wink: it is an original work at the crossroads of contemporary art and the BD (comic) culture of Tintin’s adventures. It revisits two mythical universes to create a rare, conceptual object that is accessible, both playful and intellectual.
Created in an exclusive limited edition, it speaks to collectors who love owning pieces you won’t find anywhere else — those that spark a smile, a discussion, and a touch of nostalgia.
Between homage, subversion and graphic elegance, this work is one of those creations that any art and comic book enthusiast should have in their collection: unique, instantly identifiable… and already scarce.

- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught French artist and all‑rounder who grew up in the 80s/90s culture, inspiring a large portion of his artworks.
He continually explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stencil, graffiti, urban installations and digital art. His dynamic, expressive compositions, often with double meanings, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE’s value has risen notably. Winner of the first prize in the Urban Master contest (2023), then elected Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" in October, and also featured in an American art magazine, confirming his international recognition.
His works have already been shown in major venues across Europe, the United States and Asia, cementing his place on the contemporary art scene. At the same time, SKE is also making his mark in the digital art market, a major trend of the past two years, reinforcing the appeal of his creations to collectors.
Icons of popular culture, bold graphics and textured play characterize a style that is now essential.
SKE is undeniably an artist to follow, to start or enrich a collection with rising value.
Cited & Awarded Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE’s work sits in a prestigious lineage. His linework carries the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating subversion from Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to reinterpret Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Kanagawa’s Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to juxtapose them with a modern urban aesthetic close to Mr. Brainwash or Kaws.
POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing from the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons of our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and the symbolic greed of Scrooge McDuck. The influence of gaming, comics and graphic novels is omnipresent: from the Nintendo universe and the legendary Game Boy, to Pokémon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), and the Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.
LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style that sometimes echoes Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits beside luxury and fashion logos. His canvases capture the “Hype” aesthetic: you’ll encounter sneaker brands (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also incorporates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to mention mass-consumer icons like Coca‑Cola. It’s vibrant art, with textured finishes that evoke the glossy finish of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski.
This work is ideal for enriching a collection or bringing a dynamic touch to your interior.
