AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Official Banksy GDP Rat screen print from the Gross Domestic Product exhibition.

Screen print created exclusively for this event, highly sought after and very rare indeed.

Fantastic condition as per images, stored safely away in art folder until now.

Banksy announced this exclusive artwork on his Instagram, detailing a disused shop in Croydon that would showcase his art. The shop itself never actually opened, but the exhibition could be viewed through the window for two weeks only, from the 1st of October until the 13th of October.

Originally only given to children who came to the event with their parents but on the last day, security guards dressed as shopkeepers in brown coats gave out this iconic print tightly rolled up along with 2 other prints as gifts to the people who viewed this exhibition, this is one of those very prints, it was screen printed onto 50 gsm paper which is very thin and delicate, the rippling in the paper and yellowing is normal for this print, the image is almost transparent on the reverse side due to the very thin paper its printed on to.

Limited edition of only 1000 copies. It will look fantastic framed up.

Dimensions
Height 38.5 cm
Width50 .5 cm

Great investment, sent tracked and fully insured worldwide.

Good condition : Complex printing process to create it which leaves the characteristic "creases", size and features unique to this print

The winning bidder will receive a copy of my Croydon parking ticket dated 13th of October 2019 as full provenance
