Description from the seller
Directly from the gallery "D uli - Arts"
This artwork is from the series "Homage to Yves Klein"
Yves Klein was, alongside Andy Warhol and Jeff Koons, one of the co-founders of Pop Art.
His unforgettable "Blue Quadrat" with the most beautiful and intense blue I have ever seen.
All objects were handmade by me with meticulous craftsmanship.
The traces of handwork are visible on the object and reflect the uniqueness of each individual piece.
Hand-signed
The art object is approx. 32/12/11 cm in ultramarine blue matte, mounted on a black glossy pedestal
Ultramarine pigment achieves a matte, light-absorbing surface with a special recipe.
The less light in the room, the more intensely the blue glows.
My artworks are presented at art fairs such as Cologne, Dresden, Frankfurt, Paris, Luxembourg, Hamburg, Munich, Monaco, Lyon, Strasbourg...
My Pop Art blends art and everyday life. An essential characteristic of Pop Art is the often trivial objects from daily life, from popular culture, media and advertising. The motifs used are torn from their original context, altered by me, and thus given a new life as a "art object".
