AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Italian porcelain vase with lid, with relief figures and handles. In particular, it is a neck-band vase with lid, of excellent craftsmanship, in white porcelain, with profiles and details in genuine gold. Around the vase are represented in relief (with good plasticity and definition) cherubs, cupids and girls with a fluid scenographic language. The vase was made around the middle of the 19th century, circa 1850-1860, in the Neapolitan or Campanian area in general. It is inspired by the most famous “ISTORIATI” that Ginori produced already in the 18th century and revived in the 19th century, in the latter case often bearing a crowned N. The vase is 29 cm high, 13 cm wide and deep, and sits on a square base of 8x8 cm. It is perfectly intact. It has handles with dolphin-head shapes and gilding in genuine gold. The tape on the lid is not there to hide anything but only to prevent the small lid from falling. Due to very high shipping costs and bureaucratic formalities, I do not ship to the Orient, the United States, Israel, the Canary Islands, or San Marino.
