Eight Dutch earthenware wall plates and a lidded dish dating to diverse periods of the 20th century, made of earthenware, with a combined weight of 2434 g and dimensions around 23.5 cm (H x W x D), in good used condition with minor signs of aging; bottoms bear a blue mark with a crown, the word Makkum, and model numbers, and the backs show the painters’ initials.

The underside of this ceramic object shows markings characteristic of Koninklijke Tichelaar Makkum.
Brand mark: The blue mark includes a crown, the word "Makkum", and specific model numbers.
History: Tichelaar Makkum, active since 1572, is known as the oldest ceramics company in the Netherlands, specializing in handmade pottery.
Material: The items are often made from local yellow clay and finished with an opaque white tin glaze.
On the reverse are the numbers and initials of the painters who decorated it.
They are wall plaques of various shapes and sizes.
The lid-covered saucer has a chip on the inside and damage to the foot.
The wall plate with the apple has a small chip on the underside.
