Valeria Pesce presents PERSI NEL COSMO, a 25 cm round oil and acrylic original painting signed by hand in 2024, depicting animals in a surreal marine landscape and shipped ready to hang with a certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
LOST IN THE COSMOS
Marine landscape with stingrays and other fish floating in a space that reminds us of the cosmos.
The fish I paint float lightly with their sinuous and elegant movements in a liquid sky with no gravity. The fish as a universal archetypal element, as a link between diverse worlds, as an expression of the flow of life and of emotions. Fast and fleeting like clouds and thoughts, they embody the delicate balance between serenity and vital impulse.
The water that contains them, an amniotic space in constant movement.
I am interested in the boundary between the real world and the surreal world of my aquatic landscapes in constant transformation.

ABOUT ME
Born in Italy, on the island of Sardinia, in 1963, after stays in New York to study graphic design and later in Milan, I moved to Barcelona in 1991 to work as a graphic designer and here I began my artistic career which over time has become my profession, my passion and above all a vital necessity.
I have held solo and group exhibitions in several European cities and my works are in various private collections around the world.
My work is deeply rooted in nature and human emotions, my flagship theme is water and fish, two visual universes that share symbolic intensity. The fascination with the fluidity and dynamism of water acts as the guiding thread of my creations and symbolizes constant transformation.
