G.B.C. MST-7 hi‑fi stereo, manufactured in 1958, is tested and functioning, in good physical condition.
Description from the seller
Directly from the Time Machine, I present this HI-FI stereo receiver GBC MST-7 from the 1960s, functional and in excellent aesthetic condition, produced by the Italian brand G.B.C. (Gian Bruto Castelfranchi) of Milan. A true collectible piece sought after by vintage audio enthusiasts. This unit was considered at the time an advanced system, fully silicon-transistorized. The GBC MST-7 has three separate fuses, one for the mains, one for the left channel, and one for the right channel, and a thermal switch on the final transistors to prevent overheating. Elegant cabinet in veneered particleboard with a brushed aluminum front in gold color; the tuning scale has separate and backlit illumination.
On the front you can see the headphone jack with its on/off switch. The tuner receives ONLY FM stations from factory; a noteworthy and peculiar feature is the AFC switch (Automatic Frequency Control), a circuit designed to keep the tuner constantly locked onto the desired radio station. Naturally, the GBC MST-7 must be placed in an environment with good signal reception and provided with a suitable antenna, NOT INCLUDED in the lot. The model in the photos is perfectly functioning in all its parts; it will be carefully packaged and shipped insured. Please review all photos to avoid misunderstandings.
