Description from the seller
Untitled – 2021
Acrylic paint drips on canvas
Original work signed on the back
Format: 60 x 60 cm
Presented in a black American-style crate frame
In this energetic and decidedly contemporary composition, Arnaud Florentin, known by his artist name Flow Painting, develops a vibrant portrait through a technique blending projection, dripping and instinctive gesture. On a deep black background, the face appears in an explosion of fluorescent colors — yellow, pink, electric blue and orange — creating a powerful and immediately captivating visual contrast.
The headphone headset becomes here a symbol of concentration, introspection and emotional connection to music. The splashes, drips and projections of matter imbue the work with a sense of perpetual movement, almost sonic, as if the musical rhythm took shape directly on the canvas.
Flow Painting's work is part of an urban-contemporary aesthetic influenced by street art, abstract expressionism and pop culture. His works captivate with their raw energy, chromatic intensity and strong decorative impact.
French artist born in 1978, Arnaud Florentin has for several years developed a personal universe blending contemporary portraiture, spontaneity of gesture and pictorial experimentation. His creations are today present in numerous private collections and appreciated for their visual power and modernity.
