Description from the seller
LOS ALPES
95 x 70 cm
Acrylic on canvas · 2026
The Alps presents a mountainous landscape pierced by a pink path that draws the eye toward the background of the composition. The scene is built through broad planes of color: green, blue and violet mountains overlapping under a warm sky in orange tones.
The work combines the expansiveness of the Alpine landscape with an intense, personal color interpretation. The color does not seek a naturalistic representation, but rather to create an emotional atmosphere, almost dreamlike, where nature is transformed by light and memory.
The central path introduces depth and movement, while the flowers and vegetation in the foreground provide closeness, texture and vitality. The composition generates a sense of a journey: an invitation to enter the landscape and move toward a quiet, luminous and expansive space.
PACKAGING AND AUTHENTICITY
The work is offered directly by Mar Legón and includes a certificate signed by the artist. The painting (unframed) will be carefully rolled and protected inside a sturdy cardboard tube to ensure proper conservation during transportation. After payment is confirmed, a maximum of three business days is required to prepare the work before shipment. Delivery time varies by destination, with an estimated period of up to ten business days, depending on the shipping company chosen by the buyer.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
The artist develops a painting practice focused on color, visual memory and formal simplification. Her works start from recognizable scenes — landscapes, interiors or figures — which are reinterpreted through a personal, direct and emotional perspective.
PROJECT AND VALUE OF THE WORK
The Alps is part of a body of work where the landscape becomes a chromatic and sensory construction. It is a unique piece, entirely handmade, distinguished by its strong visual impact, its compositional balance and its ability to transform a natural scene into a contemplative experience.
