Description from the seller
INFINITY BLUE
95 x 70 cm
Acrylic on canvas
Infinity Blue builds a scene from the tension between structure and fluidity. The straight edge of the pool, in a flat and bold pink, contrasts with the organic movement of the water, where loose brushstrokes create a vibrant and changing surface.
The metal ladder introduces an access point that suggests human presence without needing to depict it directly. This element acts as a threshold between two states: solid and liquid, contained and infinite.
The treatment of the water, with layers of blues, greens, and whites, creates depth and visual rhythm, evoking a sense of active calm. It is not a static space, but a surface in constant transformation, where light and movement become protagonists.
The composition, seemingly simple, is carefully balanced to direct the gaze toward the interior of the scene, inviting silent contemplation. The work sits at an intermediate point between the everyday and the abstract, transforming a recognizable fragment into a sensory experience.
PACKAGING AND AUTHENTICITY
The work is offered directly by Mar Legón, and includes a certificate signed by the artist. The painting (unframed) will be carefully rolled and protected inside a sturdy cardboard tube to ensure proper preservation during transport. ABOUT THE ARTIST
Mar Legón develops a pictorial practice focused on the exploration of color as structure and emotion. Her work is characterized by clear compositions, formal synthesis, and vibrant contrasts that place the everyday in a contemporary territory.
Through still lifes, tropical scenes, and elements of the immediate environment, she builds a coherent and recognizable visual language. Each work is an original piece that reflects ongoing research on the balance between form, color, and space, consolidating a solid artistic identity with room for growth.
