It isn’t immediately clear whether you’re looking up or down. Between Sea and Sky inhabits that ambiguous threshold where water becomes air and the sky becomes abyss. The leaves — turquoise, green, violet — overlap like waves or clouds, indecisive about their own nature. In the center, a purple heart beats softly, the only warm point in a world ruled by the luminous chill of teal. And then there are them: the tiny white specks scattered everywhere like stars reflected on a still body of water. We don’t know if they are fireflies, dewdrops, or distant stars. Perhaps it doesn’t matter. What counts is that sense of total suspension — as if time, here, had decided to stop. Signed and dated 2026 at the bottom right. Image dimensions: 90 x 70 cm.
