Ralf Altrieth's original, hand-signed acrylic on canvas triptych C'est sans fin - Triptyque - XXXL (2023), 160 × 240 cm, in brown, red and black, made in France and sold directly by the artist in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
A world of perpetual invention.
At first glance, Ralf Altrieth's painting seems to burst forth in a free and instinctive impulse. Then the gaze lingers—and gradually reveals a more complex world, threaded with moving forms, unforeseen encounters, and unexpected equilibria. Nothing is fixed. The work continually evolves according to distance, light, and the time spent before it.
In this universe, the boundary between abstraction and figuration remains deliberately unstable. Possible silhouettes surface, depths are suggested, never fixed. The gaze is challenged, set in motion. Seeing becomes an active, almost physical experience.
But beyond their immediate energy, Ralf Altrieth's works settle permanently into space. They settle by their density. By their presence. And by this rare ability to transform the space in which they are placed.

CRITIQUE AND PRESS:
"In this sense, the pictorial poems of Ralf Altrieth are a pure childish chant. From the crucible of improvisation it conjures a world intact, made of spontaneous joys and strong impulses."
— Dr. Friedhelm Häring, art historian and museum director
"His gesture-and-color writing describes a world open to new voices and to experiences never attempted. His canvases and his works on paper demonstrate that painting remains a major expression on the contemporary stage."
— Laurent Puech, art historian and curator
