Artur Sudak (born 1965) presents Odette, an original oil painting (70 × 70 cm) dated 2026, hand-signed, in pristine condition, from Poland, sold directly by the artist, in a surrealist style with a night scene.
Description from the seller
“Odetta” is a deeply moodful and mystical oil painting by Artur Sudak, inspired by classical motifs of melancholy, transformation, and the theatre of life. In the central part of the composition, on the seashore, stands a slender woman in a monumental, blue-and-white gown, whose train spreads across the sand like waves or feathers. Her open pastoral pose radiates longing and expectation.
A secondary, dark silhouette looming on a distant island-rock acts as an alter ego or an unfulfilled memory of the main heroine, directly referencing the dual nature of the myth of Odetta. The scene is framed by surreal, shroud-covered ruins of columns, and above the whole dominates a dramatically stretched, hazy moon, which cuts the sky with a delicate, luminous thread.
Born in 1965. A painter, self-taught artist, graphic artist.
He completed the painting and drawing program Curso Práctico de Dibujo y Pintura Larousse. He works in many styles, but he is especially fond of realist painting, romanticism, and a classical aesthetic inspired by the tradition of the École des Beaux-Arts.
He has over 2000 paintings to his name, which are mainly in private collections in Poland and abroad.

2019 – solo exhibition at the Bolków Castle Museum
