Original 1992 Olympic Torch for Barcelona, 68 cm high, in very good condition with signs of age, a rare collector’s item from the XXV Olympic Games.

- The Torch height = 68 CM
- Condition: Good, with signs of wear; there is tape on it for protection.
HISTORY:
The Olympic torch of the XXV Olympic Games, designed by the Catalan André Ricard Sala, travelled in 39 days through the 17 autonomous communities, covering more than 6,000 km. It passed through 652 locations and stopped at 60. A total of 9,500 bearers participated.
On 24 July it made its triumphant entry into Barcelona from Palma de Mallorca and was greeted with a multitudinous celebration that lasted all night across all districts of the city. The next day it arrived on schedule at the Olympic Stadium, and its final relay, carried out by the Paralympic archer Antonio Rebollo, who fired from the center of the stadium with his bow, was the one in charge of igniting the cauldron, thus inaugurating the Olympic Games of Barcelona 1992.
