Contemporary intervention on a 100 yen Japanese banknote from 1953, where historical iconography is interrupted by the figure of Goku, a symbol of global pop culture. The work tensionns past and present, economic value and symbolic value, transforming an everyday object into a dialogue between tradition and fiction. The work is presented framed in plexiglass, highlighting its value as a unique piece of contemporary art.

The artist of this work is Theart, an artist born in 1968 who resides in Spain, who began her artistic career at a young age, and her passion for art led her to immerse herself in this world.
