According to Artprice, Bruno Cantais's market value in 2021 ranges from about 600 to 2,000 euros for his paintings and multiples prints, making him relatively affordable for art collectors.
A voracious and spontaneous creator, Bruno Cantais lives in Lyon; he explores several techniques, ranging from abstract expressionism in the style of Rauschenberg or De Kooning, to material projections à la Georges Mathieu, to Pop Art collage, or to the expressionism of Karel Appel, straddling the borders between abstract gesture and figurative representation. But his distinctive mark remains this physical painting, the material worked by the body, a testament to the artist's intimate monologue.
An artist represented at Galerie Les couleurs de l'éternité in France, Gallery Modern Dutch Art in the Netherlands.
Listed by Artprice, Drouot and Akoun since 2005. Atelier Maeght in 2005. Recently participated in the Art3f fair in Lyon. Recent exhibitions in Chișinău, Moldova, Cannes, Pézenas and Lyon—Abbaye de Paul Bocuse, gala evening 2023. Paris, private collection gallery on Île Saint-Louis since 2016. Exhibits in international galleries in Belgium, USA, Italy and Portugal since 2019.
