Roma inc - Platter (2) - Pot with lid - Earthenware - Sponge ware

This is a vintage Italian ceramic serving dish from Roma Inc., hand-painted with a blue sponge pattern.
The design is known as spongeware (or "spatzware"), where the blue color is applied with a sponge to the ceramic for a marbled effect.
The legs are in the same style and are also depicted on the bottom.
The whole is in excellent vintage condition.
