Through this series, Popléa plays with our modern dependence on images, childhood heroes, and popular symbols.
The characters change across the works, but the principle remains the same:
an encapsulated emotion, ready to be “prescribed.”
Between minimalist sculpture, luxury design, and a gentle critique of consumer society, HAPPY DRUG deliberately blurs the boundary between art, collector’s items and fictional pharmaceutical product.
