The work reinterprets pharmaceutical codes to transform nostalgia, entertainment and collective references into “emotional substances.”
Through this series, Popléa plays with our modern dependence on images, childhood heroes and popular symbols.
The characters change according to the works, but the principle remains the same: an encapsulated emotion, ready to be “prescribed.”
Between minimalist sculpture, luxury design, and a gentle critique of consumer society, HAPPY DRUG deliberately blurs the boundary between art, collectible object and fictional pharmaceutical product.
