An fascinating large-format herbarium produced in the very early years of the 20th century (perhaps even the late 19th century) by Professor D. Giovanni Ghibaudo, probably Piedmontese. It contains dozens of plant leaves arranged by type, with their Latin names.

Pages: (II) + 78 cards numbered only on the recto.

Cards and leaves in overall good condition, with the usual wear from use and time (some small losses).

Contemporary binding in black half-leather, with some wear and loss but well preserved overall. Yellow endpapers.

Affascinante erbario in grande formato realizzato nei primissimi anni del Novecento (forse anche fine Ottocento) dal professore D. Giovanni Ghibaudo, probabilmente piemontese. Contiene decine di foglie di piante suddivise per tipologia, col loro nome latino.

PP.: (II) + 78 carte numerate solo al recto.

Carte e foglie in condizioni complessivamente buone, coi consueti dell'uso e del tempo (qualche piccola mancanza).

Legatura coeva in mezza tela nera, con qualche usura e mancanza ma ben conservata nel complesso. Fogli di guardia gialli.
