Description from the seller
A rare and original example of the Breitling Navitimer 806 APOA from circa 1959, presented in excellent condition for its age. The watch retains its original, unrestored dial with natural patina and has never been repainted, while the rice-beaded bezel is equally original and untouched. The gold-plated case presents warmly and the movement is running well. This example comes with a beautiful rose watch box, its period original booklet and is accompanied by a dedicated book on the history of the Navitimer with the same model on the cover of the book!, making it an exceptionally well-documented piece. A black Breitling strap completes the package. The 806 APOA represents one of the most historically significant references in vintage Breitling collecting, tied directly to the watch's role as the official timepiece of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association during the golden era of aviation. Original documentation and an untouched dial and bezel of this quality are rarely found together in a single listing.
