What is a "Panthagon"?
Born of my imagination, the Panthagon derives from a cross between a panther and a spiny dragon. This explains why it has spines on its back. Juveniles are born with only 4-6 spines. As they grow, females retain their 4-6 spines while males develop additional spines on the back that extend to the tail. There are different forms of spines (straight, tilted, short, long, etc.) depending on the Panthagon subspecies.
Popularized thanks to Orlinski, Koons, and many others, animal sculptures (balloon dog, lion, panther, crocodile...) are at the heart of pop art. I therefore offer you this representation of a Panthagon in resin, fully painted in acrylic in multicolor and in crackle version. Pop art / contemporary art style. Sculpture dimensions: 43 cm x 13 cm x 9 cm. Three coats of glossy, UV-protective varnish. Sculpture signed / hand-numbered on the bottom. Delivered with its certificate of authenticity.
