This work in the format 80 × 80 × 4.5 cm is created on a wide, high-quality canvas and moves between painting and sculpture.
In the light, the surface reveals a clear presence. Depending on the incidence of light and the viewing angle, structure and depth change, individual layers become more prominent. The work appears spatial and physical – perception arises when walking, standing, and lingering.
Frequency GOLD — Sculpture of light, structure & presence
Frequency GOLD is inspired by sound and frequency. From my work as a pianist I transfer rhythm, pause and repetition into a visual structure. The composition follows a reduced order. Repetitions generate tensions comparable to held tones, while subtle color shifts mark transitions.
Artwork details:
Title: Frequency GOLD
Size: 80 × 80 cm × 4.5 cm
Technique & Materials: Acrylic paint and Heavy Gel texture paste on canvas, built up layer by layer with different spatulas. The pigments form elevations and overlays with calm, pulsating tension.
Only the highest quality materials are used: acrylic paints from Amsterdam Expert, texture pastes from Liquitex – all produced locally in Austria.
Frame: Wide hanging frame made of solid natural wood (included in the price).
(Black decorative frame not included)
Images: The images were photographed under professional studio lighting. Light is essential for the color play of the works. The artist recommends placing under direct or indirect light to fully bring out the color play and to make the works feel alive.
