Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
A single Britannia metal teapot on its original hanging stand from the United Kingdom, with a dark wooden handle, a flower‑shaped lid knob, base marked “1 3/4” and an eagle, and including the burner, measuring about 47 cm high (including the stand) and 28 x 28 cm with minor signs of use.
Description from the seller
A beautiful teapot with its original hanging stand.
We found it in an estate sale and, whilst we know nothing about teapots, we have established that it is made of Britannia metal and dates from 1845–1865.
It is beautiful and decorative, complete with its original hanging stand and the burner for spirit or oil.
It is incredibly decorative and measures 47 cm in height including the hanging stand and approx. 28 x 28 cm in length/width.
Stamped on the base with ‘1 3/4’ and an image of an eagle.
Dark wooden handle and a lid knob shaped like a flower.
Minor signs of use and slight wear (we probably wouldn’t brew tea in it these days).
Packed securely and sent with insurance.
