Jan Marti was born in 1958 in Savoie. After a few brief studies and various jobs that he quickly abandoned, he dedicated himself to painting. His attraction to the abstract, which he depicts as energetic and elegant, is undeniable. The blaze of colors and elements touches our senses and flatters our eye. In his work, beauty is naturally suggested. As passionate about painting as about visual arts and pop art, he increasingly pursues this discipline!
Fortified by gemological training at the ING (National Institute of Gemology in Paris) and passionate about precious stones since childhood, he often embellishes his sculptures with precious stones.
Jan Marti is present in numerous exhibitions and private collections in France and abroad. Jan Marti is listed in the artists’ dictionary "guid’arts" 2021 and 2022.
