Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Extincteur Champ Clicquot Blk is an aluminium artwork by XTC, a 2026 edition 19/30, signed and numbered, fully painted with Montana spray paints, measuring 30 cm high by 8.5 cm wide and 8.5 cm deep, originated in France, in excellent condition with a COA.
Description from the seller
Veuve Clicquot Champagne fire extinguisher in black by XTC.
Fully painted with Montana spray paints and varnish.
Only painted, no stickers for a uniform result and better longevity.
Numbered 1/30 and signed on the bottom, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
The shipped piece is not necessarily the one pictured but it will be similar.
Careful packaging and tracked shipping.
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC has shaped his artistic universe through an interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration has turned into a passion that was meant to come to fruition.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligned with the Pop Art movement, through the subversion of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity expresses itself through the bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), which he makes collide with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermes, Veuve Clicquot champagne, and caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending paint with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes mineral materials.
He draws inspiration, among others, from Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, advertising, and addictions in general.
All possible flaws or imperfections are an integral part of the work: it is an empty (gas-free) fire extinguisher that has been repurposed and may show cosmetic defects visible through the paint. (Obviously it is forbidden to sell a full extinguisher whose standard labels or the pin are missing.)
